Window restrictors are lockable safety devices that cap how far a window can open, keeping children safe while still letting air in. We fit two types of window restrictors in Singapore, matched to your window profile: Konceal™ Lock for swing casement windows, and Ezi Lock V2 for windows Konceal™ Lock can’t fit.
Two Window Restrictors, One Safety Standard
Not every window in a Singapore home is the same type, so one restrictor design doesn’t fit all of them. That’s why we carry two window restrictor options rather than forcing a single product onto every window:
- Konceal™ Lock — for swing casement windows, the most common type in HDB and condo bedrooms
- Ezi Lock V2 — for windows where Konceal™ Lock isn’t compatible
Both are assessed on-site during measurement, so you’re never guessing which one your windows need.
Konceal™ Lock : The Invisible Alternative to Window Grilles
Konceal™ Lock keeps your view 100% clear while maintaining maximum child safety — no visible grille across the window. It’s machined from 304-grade stainless steel, rust-proof and corrosion-resistant, with universal key access so one key opens every unit in your home. It’s been tested by Setsco, a test and inspection body accredited by SAC-SINGLAS to ISO/IEC 17025, and withstands up to 175kg of force. The safety gap is fixed at 10cm to BCA standard.
Compared to a typical DIY window lock — plastic or zinc-alloy, stuck on with mounting tape — Konceal™ Lock is professionally fitted for a concealed finish that won’t snap or come loose.

Ezi Lock V2: For Windows Konceal™ Lock Can’t Fit
Where a window’s profile doesn’t suit Konceal™ Lock, Ezi Lock V2 covers the gap so every window type in your home can still get a compliant window restrictor. Our team confirms which of the two window restrictors is right for each window during the site visit — you don’t need to work it out yourself.
Are Window Restrictors Legal for HDB Flats?
Yes. Window restrictors are HDB-compliant as long as they maintain a safety gap of no more than 10cm and still allow the window to open fully for emergency exit. Both Konceal™ Lock and Ezi Lock V2 meet this requirement.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you have swing casement windows, Konceal™ Lock is the standard choice. For sliding, awning, or other window types, Ezi Lock V2 is used instead. We confirm this on-site.
Konceal™ Lock is tested by Setsco (SAC-SINGLAS accredited to ISO/IEC 17025) to withstand up to 175kg of force, and both restrictor types maintain the BCA-standard 10cm gap.
Both are built for professional installation, not DIY. A self-installed or taped-on restrictor risks an unreliable fit, which defeats the safety purpose.
For independent test standards, see Setsco’s ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation via SAC-SINGLAS.
